Where it all began...
I had a home with LOTS of wall space and began to look for meaningful, beautiful artwork to fill it. Everything I saw or considered purchasing had 2 flaws. 1. It looked like something I would see in ANY home and 2. I knew I would get tired of it. So, I decided to enlist my twin daughters (age 5 at the time) to help create something beautiful and special for our home. I found this frame in a thrift store...it was gold with a landscape picture on it. I bought it for $10.00 and repainted it to start a fresh canvas. Then, chose out colors that I wanted to use. I already know the girls liked to paint and could make flowers, so we set up on the floor in the kitchen and sketched out a picture. I placed the heights and sizes of the flowers and then, they were off! I thought if I tired of it, I could always repaint, but guess what, I never will! This captures a moment in time with my 5 year old artists. I will always love it!
