Flower Field

"B" and "B" had painted a sunflower for mom this summer and then came back to make a painting for the Grandparents!   They love gardening, so mom listed some of their favorite flowers and sent a picture of their barn as well.   Using that for inspiration, we created a lovely gift!  Such a happy image!

Little "B" was first!   He painted in the sky complete with sponged in clouds.

Then, with me holding the painting up, I had him paint vertical strokes to blend in the grasses.

Sides too!

"B's" final step was to dot in the trees by the barn.  I gave him guidelines with my paint, and then he filled in!
AWESOME!

Next up was big sister "B"!   She started out with adding stems and circle stamping in flower middles.

Then she worked on the barn.  I taped again to help maintain nice lines.

While the barn was drying, "B" worked on red bee balms.  Fun!

Then, after the middles dried, she painted in the black eyed susans.

And finally, the purple cone flowers!

OH!  LOVELY!  I had a hard time choosing out which one was my favorite!
